  • Minimum 10th standard pass (Science preferred)

Course Syllabus (4 Months)
1: Electrical Fundamentals & Safety
1-2 weeks
Basics of electricity: voltage, current, resistance, power. AC/DC systems. Ohm’s law, series-parallel circuits. Electrical safety: PPE, lockout-tagout, first aid for electric shock. Introduction to IS standards.
2: Wiring Tools & House Wiring
3-4 weeks
Identification & use of electrician tools: pliers, cutters, testers, multimeter. Types of wires, cables, switches, sockets, MCB, RCCB. Staircase wiring, corridor wiring, godown wiring, distribution boards.
3: Electrical Machines & Motor Control
2 month
Single-phase & three-phase motors. Starter types: DOL, star-delta, reverse forward. Testing, winding, and troubleshooting. Maintenance of pumps, fans, and industrial machinery.
4: Domestic & Commercial Installations
3 month
Wiring of residential flats, showrooms, offices. Load calculation, earthing systems, lightning arrestors. Inverter/UPS connections, meter board installation, and power factor correction.
5: Solar PV Systems & Smart Home
4 month
Solar panel installation, charge controllers, inverter batteries. Grid-tied & off-grid systems. Smart switches, home automation wiring, Wi-Fi controlled devices, energy auditing.
6: Industrial Automation & Projects
Last weeks
Introduction to PLC, sensors, contactors. Control panel wiring. Live project: design and execute a complete electrification layout for a small workshop. Final assessment & viva.
